Most people ask: how does a PhD in Experimental Medicine end up behind a camera?
For me, the answer is simple. Observation is an art form.
In my years of cancer research and clinical trials, success depended on an obsessive attention to detail, a methodical approach to complex systems, and — most importantly — a deep understanding of the human element. Whether I was analyzing cellular structures or managing a clinical protocol, I learned that the smallest details always tell the most important stories.
The Portrait Clinic is what happens when scientific rigour meets professional photography. I don't just take photos. I apply a clinical eye to lighting, composition, and human expression — approaching every session as a unique study in character.
I also understand that for many people, being in front of a camera can feel as vulnerable as a medical exam. Which is why I bring the same empathy I developed in the medical field to every session. My subjects leave feeling seen, comfortable, and confident.
